ABOUT OMGOODNESS BREAD

OMG bread is gluten free, dairy free, egg free, soy free, refined sugar free, organic and paleo. It's also a source of protein and good source of fibre. All the loaves are Vegan except for our Walnut & Manuka Honey loaf (which contains honey).

Described by our loyal customers as the 'best GF bread ever', OMG was developed at home over 10 years, with the vision to provide high quality nutrition, make great toast and sandwich bread, have outstanding taste and texture and be family friendly.

Moist and bursting with flavour, it's the perfect centrepiece for everyday eating, social occasions and a versatile allergy-friendly foundation for school lunches. It's also very resilient and toasts beautifully from frozen, so there's no food waste.

The base ingredient for all our loaves is fresh, stone milled, whole buckwheat flour, milled in our Hastings GF premises. We also pack them with the goodness of chia seeds and linseeds, along with tapioca flour, kelp powder and a little sea salt.

NUTRITION

OMG was created with nutrition top of mind. Based on fresh stone-ground whole buckwheat flour which is naturally high in protein, amino acids and B-vitamins, and packed with activated chia seeds and linseeds. Complemented by real, organic ingredients including seeds, herbs & spices, dried fruits, fresh pumpkin and oranges.

OMG bread is a Source of Protein and Good Source of Fibre.

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE

Fresh OMG bread will last up to 4-5 days depending on how it is stored (16-18 degrees at ambient). It can be kept in the fridge after several days to extend its shelf life, or better still, sliced and frozen.

It freezes very well and can be toasted directly from the fridge or freezer.

It can be kept in a sealed container or linen bag to retain moisture.

It can also be used to make a sandwich straight from the fridge by warming the bread slightly to soften it, as the high moisture content makes it very resilient.

It is best as fresh sandwich bread in the first couple of days and after that is better kept in the fridge or frozen.
